Dr. Clovis Hugues Seumen Tiogang
The inventor and main founder of CellAlarm. At InnoZell he will be founder, managing director and innovation specialist. He will be responsible for the leadership and management of InnoZell’s overall operations, including agenda, strategy, policy and communication. Clovis is the winner of the Kilometer1 Science 2022 Innovation Award with his product „CellAlarm“ and also holds several relevant certifications such as the Six Sigma Yellow Belt and GMP certifications. He has also participated in the Lean Impact workshop offered by Kilometer1. In addition to his doctorate, he has also carried out cell-based biocompatibility tests on modified implant materials for the start-up StimOs GmbH.
Ann-Kathrin Mix
The co-founder and Operation Officer. She is a PhD student at the University of Konstanz with a research focus on the development of antibiotics against microbes such as bacteria. At InnoZell, she will be the administrative and operations specialist responsible for all operations and customer compliance. She is qualified in both GMP and project management (IPMA/ICB4.0). She is specialized in agile project management such as Scrum or Kanban. Having led several team projects, she has many years of experience in leadership, management, scientific communication and knowledge transfer. She has gained this experience in both university and business contexts. For example, she was involved in the international start-up AMResolute, which deals with the screening and discovery of novel antibiotics and their mode of action. She will act as an expert for the documentation, compliance and implementation of good laboratory practice according to standardized procedures. She will also be involved in decision making in all our activities. In addition, she is a highly creative mind in the field of art and design, including communication design for scientific aspects. This qualification has been recognized by the scientific poster award of the University of Konstanz, among others.
Erik Sontowski
Marketing and Communications Officer at InnoZell. He is in the second year of his PhD in the field of cell biology at the University of Konstanz. The focus of his doctoral thesis is on the analysis of protein-protein interactions during cell adhesion. At InnoZell, Erik will be responsible for marketing, customer support and the design of various communication media. His profound knowledge of web design, community management and corporate branding will enrich the start-up. He is an expert in web design, as can be seen on the websites www.bufata-bio.de and https://www.biologie.uni-konstanz.de/fachschaft/, for example, and will create and maintain InnoZell’s homepage. In addition, he has managed a number of student organizations where branding, management and development of communication strategies were crucial. This includes, for example, the Konstanz Student Council and other bodies in Germany. Similarly, he has expertise in working as a financial officer for the University of Konstanz and a deep-rooted network in the University of Konstanz that is an immense asset to the start-up. Especially his talent in communication and networking with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds will help to efficiently establish and stabilize InnoZell’s future network outside the university.
Prof. Dr. Christof R. Hauck
Scientific advisor and expert in cell biology and genetic engineering,
has headed the cell biology laboratory at the University of Constance for the past two decades. He was involved in the invention and development of CellAlarm. In the future, he will continue to support the further development and research around human cell-based in vitro tests. He will also review the scientific validity of the market study in conjunction with the upscaling of the tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the reporting.
Joachim Plesch
Business Enabler, is Managing Director of Gorfion Green Energy GmbH and, in addition to his training in international business administration, has many years of experience in managing several successful companies. Joachim also works as a freelancer for the Start-up Netzwerk Bodensee. With this important knowledge and experience, he will accompany the InnoZell team through continuous discussions and support. On a monthly basis, he will review the financial performance and provide business-oriented strategic advice for consistent growth.
